Laurin 100% CocoMCT (Medium Chain Triglyceride) Coconut Oil

Laurin is 100% CocoMCT – MCT stands for Medium Chain Triglyceride.   What is it?  According to the packaging, Laurin is the healthiest part of the coconut oil.
What I like most about this brand – it doesn’t have coconut oil scent nor does it taste like coconut oil. Yes, it’s scent-less and taste-less.   And I bought a bottle so I can use it as skin moisturizer and hair conditioner (a local aternative to Argan Oil which I use now).   Laurin is great because unlike other coconut oil brands, it’s not greasy when you apply it on your skin or hair.
Since it’s flavor-free, it’s also best to use it as dietary supplement (1 tbsp a day) though I don’t take it on a regular basis.  I only put a tablespoon every now and then in my smoothies.
A bottle of 150ml costs Php309 at Echostore.  A bit pricey compared to other coconut oil brands which usually sell between Php175 to Php250 for 250ml.  But as the sales staff explained to me, it’s expensive because of the process it uses to extract Laurin.
Since it’s expensive, I don’t use this coconut oil for oil pulling.  I use a different brand (Bukid Organic or Prosource) for oil pulling.
Rating:  5/5 It’s scent-free, flavor-free, non-greasy – a great coconut oil product to use without smelling like latik or kalamay.

I agree, I like this product because it is tasteless and odorless, unlike most of the coconut oil out there. My dad drinks a tablespoon a day to prevent alzheimer’s. My sis-in-law uses it to prevent constipation. My son uses it on his skin and also for constipation. Great product!
