I rarely use makeup or put anything on my skin unless it’s necessary. But our skin goes with our age, too. That’s why we have to take care of our body and choose a healthy lifestyle. Being a female, it’s important to maintain our skin, especially the face. Wrinkles start to appear as we age.
So while looking for a product that I could safely use, I saw Pond’s Age Miracle Wrinkle Corrector Night Cream. It is contained in a small white and red box and costs Php99.00 only. Given it’s brand, this is something affordable and it’s available in major drugstores and supermarket.
The product claims that it has the most advanced anti-aging technology called RP-C24 recovery complex. It releases retinol (Vitamin A1) which works non-stop to help reduce wrinkles from appearing. I opened the box and it contains a small bottle containg 10 grams of pink unscented cream. I must say it’s like their usual cold cream and I’m liking it already.
I applied this cream every night after cleansing my face. So I just apply dots of this cream on my face and massage it using my ring and middle fingers only in circular motion.
The package comes with warnings that says to store away from direct sunlight and heat, which is almost a rule to all products. Another warning is to avoid using it on the eyelids. If ever contact occurs, you need to rinse the eyes with water immediately. And I’m careful when massaging the cream near the eye area. The third warning says that you may experience mild redness or flaking, which are signs of exfoliation. It claims that this indicates that the formula is working. But if this effect persists or cause discomfort, stop using it and consult a doctor.
So far, after two weeks of using it, I haven’t experienced the redness or flaking. I don’t know when the effects will really show. I’ve been taking care of my health, eating more vegetables, and taking my daily doses of vitamins C and E, so that’s another factor to consider. When I attended a seminar recently, someone guessed my age ten years younger than my actual. Oh well, ever since I’ve reached my 30’s I’ve said to myself that my age will be a guessing game and I’m aging gracefully.
I’m going to rate this product as 5 (I’m loving it, personally).
